In Greene County magistrate court judgments were entered in three cases initiated in district court.
A charge against Jessica Amber Montoya, 20, of Churdan of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury was amended to assault-simple. Montoya was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $121.
A charge against Nicholas Anthony Balderas, 24, of Bagley of domestic abuse assault-second offense was amended to assault-simple. Balderas was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $116.50.
A charge against Joseph Thomas Romeo, 46, of Jefferson of mischief-fourth degree was amended to criminal mischief-fifth degree. Romeo was fined 465 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. Court costs were $60.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending March 11 as follows: Matthew John Goff of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; Stephanie Arvella Goff of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Tesa Renee Binns of Jefferson, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending March 11 as follows: Christopher Maurell Mannion of Jefferson, operate without registration, $50, and improper use of registration, $200; Kendra Lacy Wilke of Jefferson, failure to yield to vehicle on right, $100; Tyler Thomas Muir of Jefferson, operate with cancelled title/suspended/revoked, $100; and Mihles J. Exline of Jefferson, operation without registration, $50.
Also, speed, $90 (16-20 mph over limit): Jose Guadalupe Cordova Hernandez of Marshalltown.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Michelle Lee Meyers of Grand Junction, operation without registration card or plate, $50; Ashley Marie Voege of Jefferson and Dudley Ray Garvin of Decatur, IN, speed, $20; Troy Allen Binkley of Jefferson, failure to obey stop or yield sign, $100; and Robert Charles Heath of Grand Junction, failure to wear/maintain safety belt, $50.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
